Pakistan’s cricket is suddenly starting its journey with renewed vigor after overcoming the deadlock. All levels of cricket in the country were suspended due to military violence with India. Pakistan had announced the cancellation of the PSL and three other local cricket tournaments in the country.

But a new wave seems to have started on Tuesday. On the same day, it was announced that the PSL will resume. After that, the name of the country’s new cricket coach with the white ball was also announced. Former New Zealand cricketer and coach Mike Hesson has come to take charge of the ’92 World Cup winners. This time, there are rumors about the Bangladesh series as well.

Pakistani media Samaa TV reported that the series between Bangladesh and Pakistan can start from the 27th. The initial start time of this 5-match T20 series was May 25. But the postponement of the PSL has affected this series.

Pakistan’s Interior Minister and PCB President Mohsin Naqvi said that the final of the 10th edition of the PSL, which started after a break, will be held on May 25. Naturally, the Bangladesh vs Pakistan series is expected to be postponed. And that is what is going to happen.

Although there is no official confirmation yet, it is known that the series will run from May 27 to June 5. According to the initial plan, the first two matches of the series were supposed to be held in Faisalabad. However, Samaa TV, citing sources from the board, reported that all the matches of the series will be held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Earlier yesterday, it was reported that the Bangladesh Cricket Board has agreed to send a team to Pakistan.

Initially, the two teams were planning to play 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is in this white-ball tour. However, it was converted into a 5-match T20I series to ensure full preparation for the Asia Cup and World Cup.
