1- The middle order of both the teams has not been able to make its mark in this season so far
The batsmen of both the teams have batted poorly this season. Talking about Chennai Super Kings, Rahul Tripathi, Deepak Hooda, Vijay Shankar and Shivam Dubey have not been able to score big for their team yet. Players are being given opportunities but they are not able to capitalize on them.
The middle order of Sunrisers Hyderabad has also looked very weak. Nitish Kumar Reddy, Aniket Verma and Heinrich Klaasen have failed to bat consistently well.
2- Spinners are not able to take wickets in the middle overs
Apart from Noor Ahmed, the bowling of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja from Chennai Super Kings has looked disappointing this season. When Ravichandran Ashwin was included in the Chennai Super Kings team, many people had high expectations from this spin trio. But apart from Noor Ahmed, the rest of the bowlers bowled poorly.

Not only spinners but fast bowlers have also been badly beaten. Khaleel Ahmed from Chennai Super Kings had a very good start this season but in the last few matches he has completely forgotten his rhythm. Not only this, the performance of the rest of the fast bowlers has also been ordinary.
