The painting of Messi’s favorite goal will be auctioned for the charity of the Inter Miami Foundation. It will be transformed into a painting by artist Refik Anadol. UEFA has also approved them in this case. It will be unveiled in New York on June 11 through the auction house Christie’s. The auction will end on July 11.
Messi said of the auction of his favorite goal painting: “I already know how special Rafik’s work is. We met in Miami and now it will be exciting to discover how he can transform this goal, this moment of the game, into a unique work of art.” All the money raised from the auction will go to charity.
